I am a biophysicist, and I use computers to study the molecular mechanisms of life. Understanding how our body works at such a small scale is key to inform the design of new therapies to fight diseases.

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Physics at Durham University. My group uses computer models and artificial intelligence to understand how life works at the molecular level. This is important because the healthy function of any organism, and the sicknesses caused by viruses and bacteria, can be all explained by how molecules within our body move and interact with each other.
